To Register
If you are joning us for the first time and you were not enrolled during the previous semester in a regular class at SCC, you will first need to complete an application for admission. Admission applications can be completed online, by mail, or in person.
Online registration process (as of 8/09):
1) go to http://www.solano.edu/--this is the college's homepage.
2) click on "application" under Become a Student in the left margin. The application process is handled by an independent company specializing in collegiate applications.
3) scroll down the application info page--maybe spend a little time reading it--all the way to the bottom and click on the box "Begin application for Solano Community College."
4) click "New User" in the box.
5) follow the instructions completely for registration you'll get a username and a password in order to complete the application process-write them down exactly as they appear because it's case-sensitive!
6) fill in all the boxes and click and then click on "Create My Account" at the very bottom.
7) Hopefully you've completed the application process and will be issued a confirmation of registration within up to 48 hours. Sometimes it takes that long to confirm your status as a new student.
8)Be sure to record your username and password-you'll need the pair to access the registration process below in "My Solano."
Enrolling in class:
If you have an active enrollment at SCC, you can register in advance online (http://www.solano.edu - follow the online services link) or via phone (707 864-1006). See http://www.solano.edu/oar/registration.html for additional details on registering.
Online registration:
1) go to http://www.solano.edu and click on the "My Solano" box at the top of the homepage.
2) enter your username and password in the "Secure Access Login" box; there are all kinds of ways to "find that information" if you forget. It’s case-sensitive so, write it down carefully!
3) click on the "student" tab and then click on the "registration" tab.
4) you should be in the vicinity of the "add/drop classes" tab/select. Then fill in the fields for Music 20 –#80586, or Music 24 # 80615, or Music 25 -#80625. It’s all Solano Choral Society. You can pay by credit card at this point or have them bill you.
Note: Solano Choral Society has several possible course numbers (Music 20, Music 24, Music 25). Each of these courses can be repeated up to four times. If you have reached the limit for enrollments in Music 20, register for Music 24 or Music 25 — they are concurrent. If you are rejected for one, try another number.

The Community Education Program non-credit fee-based classes are designed for personal interest, business and professional development, and lifelong learning.
